Global demand for intelligent door access solutions is creating new opportunities for manufacturers capable of combining technology development with scalable production. Chinese manufacturer TENON is positioning its integrated R&D and manufacturing capabilities to support international brands, developers, builders and distributors through flexible OEM and ODM cooperation.

TENON specializes in intelligent locks and smart doors, with a business model covering the complete product development and manufacturing process.
From engineering and research and development to production and project support, TENON provides partners with an integrated manufacturing solution rather than focusing solely on finished-product supply.
The company's production infrastructure includes a 20,000-square-meter modern manufacturing facility and a workforce of more than 500 employees. More than 40 professional engineers support product development, engineering optimization and manufacturing processes.
Four imported PCB SMT production lines provide dedicated electronics manufacturing capabilities, an important foundation for intelligent locks that integrate biometric recognition, electronic control systems and connected functions.

TENON has developed nearly 200 patents and has pursued international product certification, with products certified through organizations including SGS and Intertek.

Its product portfolio covers four major intelligent lock categories: fingerprint door locks, facial recognition door locks, password door locks and smart locks designed for glass doors.
The company's smart door solutions add another layer to its product offering. Rather than treating the lock as an independent component, TENON integrates electronic identification, access control, video monitoring and reinforced door construction into a complete smart entrance solution.

Its AI recognition armored smart door supports multiple authentication technologies, including 3D facial recognition, palm vein recognition, fingerprint, password, IC card, mechanical key and APP-based remote control.
This approach is particularly relevant to projects involving multiple users. Residential communities, hotels, apartments and other commercial properties can benefit from flexible authentication options without relying exclusively on traditional keys.
TENON's smart door also incorporates a 24-hour electronic peephole, remote visual intercom and a high-definition indoor display available in 4-inch and 5.5-inch configurations. Dual AI cameras provide a 140-degree wide-angle viewing range.
For physical security, the door uses a 90 mm multi-layer armored structure combined with a C-grade lock cylinder. A nano-coating design provides additional corrosion resistance.
Environmental adaptability is another consideration in the product design. The smart door supports IPX6 water resistance and can accommodate multiple door configurations, including hinged, sliding, thermal-break aluminum and glass door applications within specified installation parameters.
Durability has also been incorporated into the engineering strategy. The lock body is rated for 200,000 cycles, while the overall system is designed for a service life of up to 15 years. The lithium battery system and Type-C emergency power supply are intended to simplify daily operation and emergency access.
TENON's manufacturing capabilities are supported by experience in international building materials and hardware exhibitions, where the company engages with potential partners and keeps pace with changing market requirements.
For OEM and ODM customers, this combination of engineering resources, production capacity and project experience allows TENON to support different cooperation models.
Whether the requirement involves a branded smart lock, a customized access control solution or a complete intelligent door project, TENON aims to provide flexible manufacturing support from initial development to finished production.
