The fingerprint lock cannot register fingerprints

  1. 1. The fingerprint head of the new smart lock needs to be initialized once before it can be used normally. For specific operation methods, please refer to the "Restore Factory Settings" section of the manual.
  2.  Please confirm whether the registered fingerprint is intact, without peeling, damage, shallow fingerprint lines, etc. If the above phenomena exist, please change a finger with a good fingerprint for registration.
  3. There is obvious dirt on the surface of the fingerprint head, which affects the collection of fingerprint features and causes registration failure. Please use a soft cotton cloth to clean the fingerprint head and try again.
  4. If the above phenomena are eliminated and the fingerprint cannot be registered, a new smart lock needs to be replaced.

The electronic lock reports low battery after waking up

  1. When the low battery alarm sounds, it means that the battery power of the fingerprint lock has dropped to the low voltage warning level. Please replace the battery in time to keep the fingerprint lock in normal use.
  2. If the fingerprint lock still reports low battery after replacing the battery, replace the front panel assembly or a new smart lock.

After waking up, the smart lock reported low battery and then automatically went into sleep

When the smart lock wakes up and reports low battery, it automatically goes into sleep mode. This is because the battery power is too low to support the normal operation of the fingerprint lock. You can connect an emergency power supply through the USB port. Please replace the battery in time after opening the door to maintain the normal use of the fingerprint lock and avoid battery leakage due to excessive discharge, which may damage the fingerprint lock.

The smart fingerprint lock has registered the fingerprint but the verification failed

  1. The position of the fingerprint is too different from the position when it was registered. Try to change the angle of the finger and keep the position of the fingerprint contact consistent with the registration position to improve the fingerprint recognition rate.
  2. The fingerprint is too dry, which affects the recognition. Please moisten the fingerprint and try again.
  3. There is obvious dirt on the surface of the fingerprint head, which affects the collection of fingerprint features and causes registration failure. Please use a soft cotton cloth to clean the fingerprint head and try again.
  4. Please confirm whether the registered fingerprint is intact, without peeling or damage. The damaged fingerprint may be recognized as an unregistered fingerprint. If it is caused by fingerprint damage, please use other methods such as password, card swiping, mechanical key, etc. to verify and open the door.
  5. If the above phenomenon is eliminated and verification still cannot be performed, the front panel assembly or a new fingerprint lock needs to be replaced.

The smart digital lock has verified successfully but cannot open the door

  1. The fingerprint lock may be interfered with or attacked, and enter an abnormal protection state. At this time, you can connect an emergency power supply through the USB port to trigger the automatic restart of the fingerprint lock, and it can be used normally after restarting.
  2. The lock body does not receive the unlocking signal. After unlocking with the key, check whether the lock body line is loose.
  3. The lock body is faulty and the motor does not start. The lock body needs to be replaced.

The smart biometric lock cannot be unlocked using a mechanical key

  1. Please confirm whether the key has been correctly inserted to the bottom. You can pull out the key and then insert the key with a little force to ensure that the key has been inserted to the bottom.
  2. If it is a folding key, you can fold the key handle and rotate it to 90 degrees before you can rotate it smoothly to unlock it. If you do not fold the key, you need to use more force to unlock it.
  3. Confirm whether the key of the smart lock is the factory-matched key, that is, whether the key lock core code is consistent with the key code.
  4. If the smart lock has a top and bottom hook or a secondary lock, it may be caused by an installation problem. Please contact the dealer for processing.

Why is there no sound from the fingerprint lock?

  1. Please confirm whether the mute function is turned on. For details, please refer to the relevant content in the manual and set the lock to non-mute mode.
  2. Remove the lock and check whether the front panel buzzer plug is missing.
  3. If the smart fingerprint lock still has no sound after eliminating the above phenomenon, the front panel assembly needs to be replaced.

General appearance issues of smart locks

During the unpacking inspection, if you find that the smart lock has damage, scratches, bubbles, uneven color, missing or broken pinholes in the plug and socket, take photos and record the body code in time and feedback to the supplier for exchange.

The problem of the smart lock suddenly alarming

  1. Anti-pry alarm, verify unlocking once and it can be released.
  2. The top of the lock body plug wire is not in good contact, adjust the biased pin and align it for insertion.
  3. The lock body is blocked and the signal detection position is inaccurate. Eliminate the key turning to the wrong angle and replace the lock body.
  4. If the smart fingerprint lock enters the sleep mode multiple times by mistake, it will be automatically released after 90 seconds. The touch screen will flash full screen and there will be a beeping alarm prompt; the forced sleep state can be released by pressing the quick open button in the closed state.

The digital lock's digital keys are abnormal and cannot be fully displayed

Reinstall the battery and rub the RESET hole on the rear panel for 5 seconds and then release it. The fingerprint lock will be restored to factory settings successfully. If the fault still occurs, a new fingerprint lock needs to be replaced.

Why does the smart lock sound an alarm after successful verification?

When the lock body operates abnormally, the lock tongue is blocked or the signal transmission fails, you can replace the lock body to eliminate the problem and check whether the lock tongue is stuck at the door frame buckle plate.

Why does the battery of a smart fingerprint lock get hot?

  1. The battery is installed in the wrong direction. The positive and negative poles of the battery are installed in reverse, and the battery direction needs to be changed.
  2. There is a short circuit in the battery compartment circuit. Disassemble the battery box to check whether the short circuit can be eliminated by replacing the battery box or replacing the rear panel.
  3. The smart lock has high power consumption and needs to be replaced and returned for inspection.

When the touch button of the smart fingerprint lock does not respond

  1. Remove the smart lock plug and check if the plug is properly disconnected.
  2. Reinstall the battery and clear the operation.
  3. If the touchpad is abnormal, replace the front panel assembly.

When the quick-open button of the smart lock does not respond

  1. If the power is not turned on normally, check whether the battery is installed correctly.
  2. If the switch is abnormal, the rear panel needs to be replaced.

What is the problem with the mechanical knob of the smart lock not turning smoothly?

  1. Before installing the smart lock, check whether the knob is returning to its original position normally.
  2. If an abnormality occurs and the knob cannot return to its original position, loosen the knob to measure the installation screw inside to see if it is stuck on the panel.
  3. If the spring is out of the slot, disassemble the structure and reset the spring.
  4. The transmission rod is too long and the angle is not horizontal.
  5. The lock body lining or buckle plate is stuck on the lock tongue, and the lining plate buckle plate hole needs to be adjusted.

Why can't the IC card of the smart lock be registered?

  1. Check the breathing light plug.
  2. Replace the front panel.

  1. First clear the registration information of the smart lock and register the IC card again.

  2. Replace the lock body of the electronic lock.

  5. The lock body travel limit switch detection is abnormal and the lock body needs to be replaced.

  1. Check whether the battery is installed upside down.
  2. Check whether the connecting wire is damaged or short-circuited during the installation of the smart lock.
